Mikado

This variety may be a hybrid with Acer palmatum. The initial color is a burst of plum red, giving way to come chartreuse veins which are rather striking. Fall colors include bright orange and red. An interesting note. The lobes on this variety are remarkably flat, all in the same plane. It makes for an interesting effect.
