Beautiful witch hazel displaying a beautiful co.bination of purple-red calyx with streamers ranging from pink to orange to orange-yellow. Also referred to as Copper Beauty, referring to the coppery tones or impressions the blooms make. This was named after the former owner of Kalmthout Arboretum, Robert de Belder's wife, Jelena. This variety also won the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit in 1993.
