Versicolor

Older variety. Less available than its brighter counterparts Oridono Nishiki and the like. Versicolor is an acquired taste, with soft streaks of lighter green and white, with an occasional dab of pink or white on a leaf. Occasional early Spring pruning provides the best color show possible. Fabulous Fall colors start as bright gold changing to strong red. A beautiful complement to dark needle conifers.
