This is called the Manchurian Snakebark Maple. Named for the former director of the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle, WA. Heart shaped deep green leaves are the largest of the Snakebark Maples. Young branches have a white waxy covering which gives the appearance of bright white. Buttery yellow Fall color.
