Burgundy Lace

Burgundy Lace is a beautiful red in Springtime and well into Summer. Red Japanese maples really have a different character once they age. Burgundy lace has gracefully arching, almost semi-pendulous branches that weave into the mid-story of the garden. The Royal Horticultural Society agrees with my love of this maple, as it is an award winner.
