Geisha

Acer palmatum

About

Easily one of the stunning show offs of Maple Hill. Spring is her season, as she drapes herself in the finest clearest pink like silk. No other maple comes close to the clarity and intensity of pink, often lightly speckled with green like a fine brocade. Few people notice Geisha in Winter, but her twigs often lighten to shades of yellow - not like Bihou or Yellow Princes, but noticeable and distinctive.
