Acer sieboldianum
Ingolstadt is a hybrid of Acer sieboldianum and Acer palmatum. Discovered by Daniel Rosman and introduced by Dick van der Maat. Spring foliage features bright red foliage with green veins maturing to green for Summer. Fall color is delightful in shades of orange and red as shown. It is unclear if this variety is named after a Japanese maple that is in Ingolstadt, Germany, or if this variety originated from the city generally.
