Hosta plantaginea
Discovered by Gerald "Jerry" Williams and named by his daughter as the shape resembled Durer's famous Praying hands engraving. Narrow green leaves emerge in Spring with a very unique and curious corkscrew twist to them. Also, this hosta's wavy edge sports a cream to yellow thin border outlining and defining the edges. So unique and special, this variety won 2011 Hosta of the year.
