Acer palmatum
Ghost Dragon is a truly remarkable maple! The leaves slowly materialize with red tips and shapes like small weeping ghosts fluttering in the breeze. According to Matt and Tim, this also get reticulation, I assume in cool Spring weather, grown in somewhat leaner soils. I will eagerly await to enjoy that. The shape on mine is truly spectacular, as it is STRONGLY pendulous. Give this a nice tall stake to start life, and an occasional snip to encourage branching.
